If you need the power of an iPad Pro, it sounds like a good deal. I find a lot of people buy pros but don’t really need the features of a pro vs an air or even regular iPad. That seems like most people spend too much given their use cases, just because they want the shiniest object. So only you can answer that question.

2024年6月1日 · I looked online and found a 5th gen iPad Pro 12.9 256gb for $599. I received it and began my comparisons. The screen on the 2024 air’s screen doesn’t even come close to the quality of the 2021 pro (which I guess is understandable bc pros have better screens) Side by side, the cheaper iPad Pro 12.9 gen 5 beat the air in almost every way.

2022年3月8日 · M1 vs M2 in an iPad would be pretty trivial, I would just get the 2021 model. However if you want the XDR display, it’s only on the 12.9 inch version of the 2021 iPad Pro but it should be on both versions of the 2022 iPad Pro.

I left it on the monitor's USB-C charging cable during the night, and when I picked it up to try to turn it on, it refused to. It went through normal usage – well-protected, no drops, no major scratches. I've used it only for videoconferencing and drawing.

Battery charging working well with the new magic keyboard (cable plug at magic keyboard side way), 100% not working if plug the cable at iPad when attached on magic keyboard.

2012年3月18日 · Using either Coconut Battery (Mac), iMazing (Mac/Windows) to get the % from the iPad logs, mine only shows Full Charge Capacity of 10471mAh = 97.2% for a New 1cycle iPad for me ! iMazing classifies this as only “Good” 😔 , vs “Excellent” 😊 for 100% on my iPhone.
