While I don't get the iPad of course until Wednesday, the new Smart Folio was available for pickup today and it indeed has a different design on the angles.

2024年5月7日 · The Smart Keyboard Folio on my iPad Pro (3 gen) has been delivering perfect service for my use cases. I often have to fold the keyboard and use the iPad as a book. Not having the Smart Keyboard Folio available for the new iPad Pro is a no-go for me. I won’t buy the new iPad Pro (although I crave for more power) until I find a decent solution.

Good lap experience, especially on couch or recliner when using touchscreen as the device is much closer to you; Various angles good for all sorts of scenarios. Protection, including back when using handheld, will not scratch iPad when placed on a surface.

2024年5月24日 · Thanks - that was my mistake, I keep confusing Smart Folio and Smart Keyboard Folio. There is no SKF for the 7th generation iPad Pro so I wanted to make sure that wasn't the cause of the mismatch. What you're seeing is probably within Apple's manufacturing tolerances. I see a similar slight offset with my iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro.

The Slim Folio Pro and the Slim Book Go both add a considerable amount of bulk to the iPad Pro, doubling the weight of the device and making it a good deal thicker.
