2008年9月8日 · According to Von Dutch, the flying eyeball originated with the Macedonian and Egyptian cultures about 5000 years ago. It was a symbol meaning "the eye in the sky knows all and sees all", or something like that. Dutch got a hold of this symbol and modified it into the flyin'eyeball we know of today.

And Carl Perkins didnt have tattoo's from his rists up to his neck (not saying I hate tattoo's either!), and wear 4" cuffed Levi's and enginner boots. The HAMB is about traditional hot rods and customs, not costumes and music.

2005年5月16日 · i saw a particular flying eyeball image someplace but i can not for the life of me find where. i've been through countless magazines lookin for it and on the net. well, i figured, why not just have the HAMB post all the different flying eyeball images they might have saved. i'd like to see alot of different ones. even slight variations are cool.

2009年8月26日 · The flying eyeball was just made an icon in our time, but no one in our time span invented it. I would have to say that Von Dutch was the vehicle that made it famous. Somewhere in the world there is a flying eyeball in a cave that was probably the first one.

2013年4月5日 · I'll start. I'm doing up a '51 Nash rambler convertible "custom". I've converted the cowl vent into an engine cowl induction system. To get the air into the engine compartment I whipped up a winged duct (flying eyeball if you will) to seal the firewall and direct the air to the filter housing. Still need to polish it up, but looks to do the trick.

2004年8月19日 · A hand painted Flying Eyeball pin,with Gold colored wings. Wing span is about 1 1/4", nice solid construction,with heavy tie tac style clasp. Made,and hand painted,in Canada. The symbol was in fact, used by the ancient Egyptians and Babylonians, many examples of their art are in museums to this day. In a new book on the sun, an astronomer has a new angle on the flying eyeball.
