2022年9月25日 · Many of us have gen 1 APP with PERFECT hinge mechanisms and zero squeaking. I've been using and abusing my gen 1 for years and the hinge is still perfect. Snaps closed without a rattle, zero wobble, zero creaking. If Apple themselves set the bar with gen 1 then we are entirely entitled to complain about a drop in quality with gen 2.

2020年10月2日 · I have used my first gen AirPods for running a number of times, and they work fine. The sweat is no issue. But my AirPods Pro, which I got several years after the original AirPods, are way better. The sound is way better, and they stay in my ears better also (though the AirPods are Ok with that too).

2022年9月23日 · Most review state otherwise, but in my experience the AirPods Pros have better ANC, and the gen 2 Pros are even better. The low end is fuller; still a little roll-off once you get into the 50Hz range (I have a bass test playlist full of songs with powerful sub-bass beats or accents, in that range) but still, markedly improved over the gen 1s.

I got the "mismatched airpods" warning in iOS but I was curious and took them in and the diagnostic said the same thing but they have a specific word for the airpods not pairing to each other and the airpods and case not pairing to each other. my airpods pros 1 in the pro 2 case flagged both.
