I5-8500 class , 4 ram slots , 2 pcie slots ( x16 and x4 ) , I used Intel P3605 SSD in x16, either 10gbe or 2.5gbe o 4 port NIC in x4. Dell SFF have a place to mount a 80mm fan, fan is pointed to the x16 slots, it cools both pcie cards very well.

I plan on running Proxmox on them, and I'd like to expand them with an additional 2.5Gb ethernet port. I'm struggling to know if its posible though, and if so whats appropriate.

2017年4月29日 · It's ludicrous because most of their laptops have all have the full 10Gbps USB-C/DP-Alt ports for years. I literally chose the more expensive Micro Plus model for a project specifically because of the rear USB-C option that wasn't available on the non-Plus. Usually Dell is better about doing stupid stuff like this.

After ESXi completes its loading of drivers and modules and such, it crashes with a purple screen of death related to CPU counts being off. Anyone experienced this? Dell OptiPlex 7010 Micro.
